I have a one month old
It's pretty crazy that I have a one month old. I definitely can't believe how fast this first month has gone. It's hard to keep up with house chores because I don't want to stop paying attention to Jackson. I'm grateful that I don't have to work and that my husband can take time off. It's kind of funny because he has a list of projects to do while on maternity leave and he hasn't gotten many of them done.
Jackson has been a pretty happy and easy baby so far. The other night he had a grumpy evening. We think he had some gas that wasn't coming out, but that was really his first true grumpy period that lasted more than a minute or so (and besides when he cries during diaper changes).
I know it's obvious, but I still can't believe that if you add 11 more of these fast months to this one, Jackson will be one year old.
(Remember you can click on the picture to see it bigger.)
I don't forsee myself doing any scrapbooking too soon. As for crafting, I have hopes of sewing some more diapers soon. But as for pictures, I will probably be using shutterfly to document stuff. Maybe I'll do some of my own digital scrapbooking, but it's not likely that I'll get all my paper scrapbooking supplies out for a little while. I eventually, within the next year, really want to make a fabric picture book like this though.

Typing one handed
I'm holding baby with one hand and typing with the other, so short post.
Today Jackson is ONE MONTH old!!! It's already going so fast!
I got a new (to me, it's used but in excellent condition) jogger! Jackson isn't old enough yet to ride in it, but I had to put him in it to see how he fit. He was pretty cute!
And we got chicks!! We got them the friday before Easter, so they are a couple weeks old now. Dan is building a coop and we'll have them in our backyard. Main reason is for the fresh eggs, they'll practically be organic.

Little baby bear
Easter, first bath at home and snowing still
We went to the downtown Easter egg hunt on Saturday with Wyatt and his parents.
Jackson's cord stump fell off last friday. It is completely healed up today, so we gave Jackson his first bath at home.
And it's April right? We are supposed to be having April Showers, not snow! It's snowing outside right now (sorry no picture to prove it).

Two weeks old!
I've been meaning to update for awhile now. The day just fly's by before I get a chance to sometimes. So finally I am adding a bunch of pictures.
This first was taken on the 3rd after a bath. Jackson's hair sticks up after it gets washed, it's pretty cute.
He is wearing some work at home mommy made baby legs, a sposoeasy cotton cloth all in one diaper and a gerber snap shirt. These WAHM baby legs were given to me as a gift from another cloth diaper mom. I have some name brand baby legs and they are way too big for him now, so these are great for while he is tiny.
Wyatt had his ONE year birthday party on Saturday! I can't believe he is already one! It seems like just yesterday I was at the hospital taking pictures of him when he was hours old. His party was cowboy themed. Jackson wore a dude ranch cowboy baby onesie outfit and Wyatt's old cowboy hat (that was still too big for Jackson). I totally forgot to dress up too. Dan came late, so I reminded him.
Dan wore the moby wrap the other day. He had me put it on him, but once it was on it worked well for him. They both liked it.
I couldn't resist to buy these pants at Old Navy the other day. Jackson wore them to Church on Sunday.
I just washed his hair again, but tried to shape it in a mohawk, didn't work super well quite yet.
Today, Jackson had his two week doctor appointment! The doctor was impressed and happy about his weight gain and said he is doing great! Good job Jackson! His cord stump still hasn't fallen off yet though. Doctor said it's still got a bit to go, so no full baths yet. And this picture was taken today.

Loved baby
Yesterday, Jackson had his one week birthday! He weighed 7 lbs on my food scale, so back up to his birth weight!
On a drive to the Cline Falls fire station to see some friends, we saw a zebra! Not too often do you see a zebra unless you're in a zoo. It reminded me of being in Africa, except this one was pretty small. I made Dan turn the car around to get a picture of it! It looks like a petting zoo type place and part retreat or something (not totally sure). Maybe in a couple years they will still have it and Jackson can go pet it!
