A page and some pictures

Here is a 12x12 page I made with this month's kit. I edited the picture first in photoshop. The picture is of my husband's grandparents.

I really wanted the focus to be on them. There was a lot of other colors in the street, so I made it b&w except for them. Then selected a square around them, inversed it and blurred it, then stroked a white line of the selected square to highlight the difference.


Here are some pictures I took yesterday of Wyatt. These are some of my favorites. I uploaded more on my flickr account (link is to the right).

I'm back!

I got my computer back finally! Not too happy with BestBuy, but enough about the computer. Here is a card I made with the April kit!

This is Wyatt, my friends baby. This first pic, he is about 1/2 an hour old sitting under the warmer at the hospital.

This picture is of Wyatt 4 days old. I'm so excited to have a new subject to take pictures of.

Bad news on my computer...

My computer is still gone. I called Best Buy to check on the computer and the lady said sorry but it hadn't been sent out yet. So, it sat on the shelf in the "yellow zone" for two weeks waiting for approval. Two weeks prior when I called and approved it to be sent out to replace the motherboard, the guy must not have done anything with it and didn't even make notes in the computer about it. So, it's going to be another two weeks.

I'm so out of sorts with out my computer. My friend just had a baby last week (and he is absolutely adorable) and I want to edit pictures I've taken... but can't. I want to make her baby announcements... but can't. I want to upload pictures of cards and scrapbook pages I've made... but can't. Ugh, it's frustrating. The computers at the library are nice, but they are a little ancient. At least I can check my email.

I always rubber band the sink sprayer so when you turn the water on in the kitchen, you get sprayed. It was even funnier when I forgot and sprayed myself!!!

I'm using my Mom's computer right now, so I can add some pictures from our trip to Arizona! Sorry, I haven't been craftin' lately, so no projects to add right now.
