I've been working in the backyard a bunch lately. We live on the edge of a dry canyon and there is a City Code that says we can't have a fence within 10 ft of the canyon. So, I call that area my secret garden. It was full of weeds a couple days ago. And I mean full, they were thick and a couple feet high. I cleared it all out, with some help from my husband. And then today I fixed the sprinkler system (broken head) and spread wild flower seeds down (that's the bluish areas).


I also bought some plants for the raised rock garden.

Now, I just hope everything grows!!

I like 3x3

Here is a card that you can make at my upcoming class on June 2nd. It is a 3x3 inch card for the mini square envelopes. It also uses the May Special, Palette O' Paper pad. I like that the card is so small. It's really quick and easy to make.

I've got a cold this week. Dan and I were both sick on Monday, which was our 2 year anniversary. Pretty sad that we were both feeling awful with colds on our anniversary.

Catching Up

Here are some of the pictures that I took last week. These are from Newport Beach, OR. The first one is of the sunset and then the second picture is when my dad and I were looking for agates the next day. It was low tide and the beach is really rocky right now.




This is my newphew, Landon, at the Portland Zoo. He was playing on some of the animal statues. It was a lot of fun at the zoo. I haven't been to the zoo for a long time.

Kind of obvious, but our computer is back! I missed it so much!
